TOC page numbers

Hi,

I have a document that has 2 sections.
Section 1 numbering is i,ii,iii.., while section 2 numbering is 1,2,3...
When I insert the TOC I get the page numbers in this format 1,2,3... only.

for example -

xxxx.......................1 (should have been i)
yyyy.......................2 (should have been ii)
zzzz.......................1 (in the new section).

How can have the correct page numbers ?

I suspect what has happened is that you have formatted or added page
numbering in the first section in some manual way, rather than via the page
number format dialog. Word only picks up the built-in page numbering for the
TOC.
