TOC font color always black

Hi,

I have a document where:

- "[project title]" is listed through out the document and listed as a
header 1 in arial 10 and font blue

however

-"[project title]" always appears in the TOC as black and i want it to show
blue

Someone help me please.

The color of TOC entries is determined by the formatting of the relevant TOC
style, not by the heading style.

in the style formatting pane - i changed it from heading 1 to TOC 1+Arial
Bold Blue and it still shows black in the TOC.

I don't see how you can have been seeing Heading 1 in a TOC to begin with.
Are you sure you actually modified the TOC 1 style? If you're seeing TOC 1 +
Bold Blue, then you have merely changed the formatting, not the style. If
you had applied Bold Blue to the TOC 1 style, you would see only TOC 1.
