Click Start / Run, then type msconfig.exe and click the OK button. Now check
the entries under the Startup tab.

See which programs are in the startup folder .

The startup folder is only one of the several places from which
programs can start automatically at bootup. So that's not a good place
to check.

Much better is running MSCONFIG; that gets most of them, but other
programs are even somewhat better.

Have you ever come across one that would replace bootvis (or bootviz, I
forget now)? I've been looking for a long time for a replacement but
never found anything that recorded the time/order.
