To pause and stop a film

As a beginner in PowerPoint with no relevant information in the help menu I
hope someone can help.
I want to insert a film sequence in my presentation, which is easy enough to
do. The film starts when clicked. Now, I would like the film to stop, also
when clicked, but how do I do that?
Furthermore, is it possible to "hide" the video behind another object when
it is not played and let be visible when the other object is clicked? The
other object could for instance be a picture of a television.
I hope my questions are understandable.

Regards, Camilla.

The way to this is to add a custom animation to the video to appear and then
an animation movie actions play (after previous)

The movie should appear and play with a normal click and stop and start when
you click on the video itself. It will play in front of any other shapes so a
carefully postioned TV will work.

Thanks to you too. I will take a closer look at this site - it seems that
there are several things that I can learn from.
