I have bought, a new pc and XP is giving me so much
grief, Hardware error's and crashes. I have had enough
and would like to know if I can reinstall my edition of
windows ME onto my new comp, Will it work .Thanks

if the PC is new, then take it back. It's under warranty, isn't it?

Read your end user license for Windows ME. If your ME license prohibits and you have XP Pro then you can downgrade to Win 2000, NT4.0, and Win 98SE. But not WinME.

But not WinME.

That's true if it's an OEM license. I don't know if it's true for a retail
license.

New PC = New PC warranty.

Contact the vendor or manufacturer and tell them to fix it or give you
your money back.

Good luck
