Windows 2000 Professional does not have that functionality. You can try at boot an option hit F8 before the Windows splash screen starts. Then choose a previous configuration.. That's the best you can do in Windows 2000 in that vein.
Alternatively, you can try to un-install and re-install your modem driver.
