When you start to type an address in the "To" box of Outlook and other
address pop up as you type.............is there anyway to delete or turn off
those address so they don't pop up? They are not address in my address book.

Hi there, this certainly is possible to turn off.

On the Tools menu, click Options.
On the Preferences tab, click E-mail Options, and then click Advanced E-mail
Options.
Clear the Suggest names while completing To, Cc, and Bcc fields check box.

Hope this helps!

After thinking about it, it is a handy feature for me but I have too many
mispelled address and too many emails come back as Mailer Deamons.

Is there a way to delete some of the names that I mispelled and not turn the
entire thing off?

There are two ways to delete names out of the autocomplete list, first is to
delete the entire file, which i can instruct you how to do if you would like.
the other is a tad tedious, but effective.

Start by opening a new email message, type the letter "a" for example. you
can then use the up and down arrow key's to navigate through all of them,
once you come up to a name you wish to delete, simply hit the delete key!!!

Hope this is helpful for you,

My Gosh! that was too easy! I did try to just delete one address before and
it wouldn't delete no matter how hard I pounded on the delete key. LOL

I feel like a fool. Maybe it's just the 119F heat and humidity here in
Toronto.

Thanks for your help
