Title bar shows only first letter of first word

I've just noticed that my IE 6.0 browser only displays
the first letter of the first word of the web page's
title. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can
correct this annoying occurence?

If you don't have any of the programs listed in that article, disable (for
diagnostic purposes) other programs such as pop-up blockers. One of them is
probably causing this.
