timeline extends beyond story board

After putting clips from story board onto time line, my finished movie is a
little over 4 minutes in length, however in the preview screen it is showing
16 minutes long and there is nothing but blank screen. How do you cut the
extended time out. Also, I have put music to the video, but the last scene I
would like to use the audio from the video camera. How do you transition from
the soundtrack back to the video camera at the point I need it. When I adjust
using the volume bar, it is either all soundtrack or all video sound? Thanks
for your help.

============================
Split the audio track (Ctrl+L) on each
side of the portion you wish to mute...
then right click the unwanted portion
and choose Mute.

Your duration issue may be caused by
incompatible source files.
