Time resets itself on startup

Everytime i restart my computer or turn it off than back on the time resets
to a few hours before the start of 2002. Can any one tell me how to sotp this
from happening?

Follow the below steps to troubleshoot this issue:

1. Click Start, run, type "cmd" (with out quotation marks) and click OK.

Hit enter after typing each commands:

net stop w32time
w32tm /unregister [ignore error message]
w32tm /unregister
w32tm /register
net start w32time

If the problem persists, you may like to replace your computer's cmos
battery.
