Thunderbird question

I ran Thunderbird for the first time. In it's setup, there is a choice
of *either* email configuration or the newsgroup configuration. I choose
email first, when that was done, I see no way to get back and set up
newsgroups.

How to get to the initial screen to setup newsgroup configuration?

One way is to go to tools>account settings. You can add an acoount from
there.

Thanks to all.

Now that I've gone through the process, I wish they did it like Netscape 4.79.
In that, I select Subscribe, and it loads all the ng's on the server. They show in
a detail list similar to TB.

Then, if I want to subscribe to ACF, for instance, I go to a new screen. I copy
the name into the screen, and Netscape searches the server, and displays the
matches, I subscribe from there.

In TB, I have to search through alt, etc. to find my ng's, then I can subscribe.
Maybe there's a better way in TB, but if this is correct, it is cumbersome.

Nope. Its very easy to subscribe to ngs in TB. Simply right click on the
ng server and it will become very clear and very easy.

Thanks, Brian. I'll try it.

I was trying to copy your reply. In Netscape, I see the header info and the
message in one window so I can copy it easily. In TB, I see your header in the
screen and your reply in the window, can't copy the header.

Is there a way to see both in one window to copy?

Hi Mike,

Try tools>account settings you'll be able to add an account - e-mail or
ng - from there.
