Someone mentioned there is an option to stop Win XP from storing thumbnails
(thumbs.db files) inside folders.
How can I do this? - didn't find much help in "Help"... (I want to remove
them because they are a nuissance during backups, burning iso's from pc
folders etc.)
I also want to be sure it that (1) removing them won't cause any damage to
the system. and (2) I could be able to change later back to defaults. [Win
XP Home]
Any suggestions?
TIA
M.

Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View -> Do not cache
thumbnails.

It wont.

Not a problem.
