Thumbnail Views for image folders!

I am having problem with the above....

Over the past few days everytime i put the folder view
into Thumbnails it goes a bit dodgy in that each
thumbnail wheter it is an image or another folder icon
has a gray shading over the front with the image in the
background, It is very irratating because i cant see the
image probably in thumbnail view. Does anyone know of a
cure,

i have put an image at
http://www.myown.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/screenshot.jpg for
you to see what i mean. Cheers in advance.

Two things that I know will do it . If you have changed the resolution with Tweak UI that can do it. If somehow you have the Attributes set to hidden and the View to "Show hidden folders". Rt click chose properties and see what it is set at.
