Thumbnail view

I'm running Windows XP Home Edition (SP2) and have a second hard drive I use
to store pictures and downloads. On my second hard drive filenames have
stopped showing in thumbnail view, but will appear in any of the other views,
and if you go into subfolders on that drive the filenames still show in
thumbnail view. I've reset the Folder Options to default and checked the
View/Choose Details options with no luck returning the filenames. I've also
reformatted the drive. Can anyone tell me the possible cause and/or fix for
this?

Thanks

Hold down the shift key when switching to thumbnail view to hide the file
names. Do it again to bring them back.
