What locale are you using? Is your version of Windows a non-English
version?

This beta is English only, and works for many, but not all locales, as long
as the date formats,.both short and long,. are set to the defaults for the
locale.

If that doesn't do the job for you, you'll need to await a further beta
build where this issue is improved on.

I am sure Microsoft will have MSAS available in common languages such as
Spanish and French closer or by release time.

Beta 1 just does not like your system. Some things cannot be explained,
scheduled scans work on my system, and it does not work on some. Hopefully
this will all be resolved by beta 2.

C

christopher shipman

hopefully, but i have been using it for like 2 months now..
beta 2 better hurry up!

You need to set the long and short date formats for your locale to the
default settings, which I believe to be the topmost settings in the
drop-down controls.

Looking back on the thread, this recommendation has been made before. If
that doesn't resolve the problem for you--i.e. you've found the long and
short date format settings, and set them to the top choice in the dropdown
box, and your date and time are correct, and Microsoft Antispyware still
doesn't work. then I recommend that you uninstall the beta and wait for
another build to be available.
