Hi,
We are using MS AntiSpyware Beta which expires on 31 July,
2005. I want to know what will happen after 31 July.
Whether the software will not work or update will be
stopped or new version will be released.

Also I want to know whether MS AntiSpyware is going to
available as Beta.

Please guide.

Prabhu

That was posted by Steve Dodson from Microsof in other newsgroup:

"I would say that the expiration issue will be resolved fairly soon as we
will push forward the timebomb. We are in the final test pass on the next
release and as soon as we have finished the testing, it will be broadly
announced. The next version should put a dent in reducing the following
major issues:

1) July 31 Timebomb
2) LSP breaking.
3) Flying toasts when start bar is docked on the side.

I am real excited that these items will be fixed soon so we can focus on
finalizing beta 2.

Mikolaj has answered (via Steve Dodson!) one of your questions.

Microsoft Antispyware is not freeware, but it will be available without
additional cost to licensed users of Windows.

I'm not sure what your question is about availability as a beta. The
current product is a public beta. The anticipated revision before July 31st
will also be beta, and the anticipated beta2 version will be a beta.
Eventually, there will be a final product release.
