MSAS Beta Version Expired

I keep receiving the error message "The Microsoft
Internal Beta Version of Microsoft AntiSpyware has
expired as of July 31, 2005. Please contact Microsoft
for an updated version".
There have been pop ups from MSAS asking if I wanted to
upgrade to the latest version - I choose yes and it seems
to install something yet, it doesnt make a difference.
When I try to use AS, it still shows expired. Any
suggestions?? Thank you.

What's a problem about this issue is that I don't believe you have an easy
way to see the version number of the installed code at this point--'cause
all it'll do is say "I'm dead."

I'd go with Plun's recommendation--download fresh and install, even though
you've presumably done this before, and let's see if that takes care of it.
