Friday morning I installed RealPlayer and found then that the Runtime Error
I was getting when on BBC websites ceased. Guess it was because it was
looking for Realplayer which wasn't installed then. So one problem solved.
Friday lunchtime I had taken some pics and went to download them to my
laptop and found that the Exif Launcher no longer activated when my camera
was plugged in via the USB. Hence my pictures don't download automatically
into the FinePix viewer software. Tried all the usual right clicking on the
drive with the camera attached, selecting properties and choosing Open with
the FinePix viewer and always perform this action. Tried this many times
with no effect, uninstalled the software and re-installed again. Still no
luck. Thought back to what had altered since the last time it worked
(Wednesday night) and the only difference was that I had installed
RealPlayer since then. So I uninstalled RealPlayer and Hey Presto the
camera software now works as normal.
Any ideas anyone as to why this happened?
