When I click on the short-cut arrow for the Google browser,I get a message,
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel'. I went
to the Options Folder, but didn't find any obvious action that would correct
my problem. Please help. North Port Oz

Select Folder Options
Select File Types
You will find under that tab a way to create an association for the file
type which the subject file displays.

You can also right click on the image and select Open With etc.

Jim, After clicking on File Types and scanning the long list of extensions
and associated file types, I could not locate any Google-related icon or file
type. Also, I right-clicked on both the short-cut icon and the regular Google
icon and did not find a block stating "Open With".

Google browser is probably an .lnk file. An Internet Shortcut.

Go here...

Read the instructions. Then get...

and

Press and hold the Shift key then right-click.

Good luck
