This file does not have a file assoociated with it...

Been working on a pc that was riddled with spyware/adware
and virusus. after getting those all cleaned off,
everything worked fine. I then installed Win XP SP1 and
all the critical updates. after that, no programs other
than IE will open! Does this sound like uninstalling the
updates will cure this or will it need a totall reinstall?

Awsome! You came back so quickly with an answer, I
thought there was no way it would work... I had searched
Mircrosoft's site and not foud this answer... I bow to
you for the help and such a quick responce!!!!
