This device cannot start. (Code 10)

I've recently had an 'ADMtek AN983 10/100 PCI Adapter' added onto my computer.

Windows Plug and Play instals the driver but says that it isnt working
properly, i've uninstalled and reinstalled the driver a few times, restarted
etc and no change.

Device Manager tell me that:

'This device cannot start. (Code 10)'

Help!

If your NIC is located in the first PCI slot next to the AGP card, there are
ocaasions when the two interfere.

Try moving the NIC to PCI another slot.

If the above is not true, then take the NIC back to the supplier and ask for
a replacement or alternative item. Every noe and then one finds faulty
hardware: isn't that surprising.

Ta, will take the computer back to the place that put in the LAN card, i was
hoping it was a software problem and i could fix it myself.
