Third party editing of protected subweb..?

I

Ivor Jones

I need to create a password protected subweb on my site for a club
membership area, this isn't a problem and I know how to do it, but it may
be necessary from time to time for another person to have access to this
page for editing and to upload new material.

Does the sub-editor (for want of a better term) need to be running FP as
well and can I set it so that they can only edit the subweb and not the
main site..? The problem is I don't yet know whether the other person has
FP or not.

Running FP2000 under Win98SE and the host is running Linux with all FP
extensions installed, if it's relevant.

Since you are running FP server extensions, the "sub-editor" must be running
FP. Give them the appropriate authoring permissions for the subweb only.
