Thinkpad keyboard

I upgraded from Win 98 to XP pro. When I have the
computer docking and use an external keyboard, everything
is fine. When I take it off, the numberpad, on the
keyboard works and cuts out the letters. I can't get it
to work properly (and no, the num lock is not on at that
point) I can't locate anything from windows suport, or
IBM suport that shows this problem. Any help would be
appriciated.

You have to install new Windows XP drivers for your Thinkpad. You didn't
mention your model, but IBM should have drivers on their website.
