Themes Question

D

David Ray

I have a site that uses a theme.

I have had to add a couple pages that are just plain white, with no themes
(these are created in a separate folder on my local machine as a separate
web, but are then published to the same folder on the server).

Anyway, when I publish the plain white pages, my existing site's theme is
plain white, too. When I publish my original site using its theme, the new
pages get that theme, instead of the plain white. I have gone into the
plain white pages in FP and and removed the themes from the additional pages
individually, then republished. Same problem.

Any suggestions for a FP neophyte?

TIA

You must publish to a subweb via FP on the remote server.

couldn't he just not apply the theme to those few pages? as long as he doesn't want a different theme he wouldn't have to go the subweb right? i think??
