The XP Prof CD went bonkers

Hi. I bought a desktop with ASUS motherboard at Cass
Computers on May 2003. At the time of purchase I paid
for the Windows XP Professional CD disk and software
installation. The disk is in a paper sleeve that doesn't
have the PID. The Key Code sticker is affixed to the
side of the computer case. The computer is now back at
Cass being repaired. They called and told us the CD is
not readable anymore and to get a replacement CD. How do
I do this and at what cost.

It sounds like its an OEM CD that they supplied. Happily for you, it's up
to them to replace it for you.

All they need to do is use any OEM XP Pro CD with your Product Key from the
sticker.
If they build computers, they will have a CD to do the install.
