Even if it is not "... an attempt to harvest e-mail adresses ..."; someone
would be much better off Googling for their answer than emailing someone
they do not know directly to ask for help with their computer system. The
newsgroups are a much better source for such question/answer sessions
because it is more difficult for someone to give
bad/inconsistant/potentially dangerous advice and not get called on it.

Not saying that is what you you are going to do (give bad advice) - but an
intelligent individual would be better off publically asking a question
and/or researching for their own answers.
