"The System Has Recovered From A serious Error"

Anyone have any experience with this type of error?

Lately my PC has started to just randomly reboot on its own. Upon restarting
a small window with the words "The System Has Recovered From A serious Error"
appears. How serious in fact is this and how do I repair it? I am fearing a
major crash and don't want to loose anything.

Please help

Why don't you disable the automatic restart on system errors in order to
get an
error message instead.

Nope, could be anything. Wait for an error message next time in order to
get
more information. If rebooting persists instead, you can rely on a
hardware
problem.

I tried what you mentioned and I get the following error:

"Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start. "
