The Server Unexpectedly Closed Connection

Chris

Hi, I'm having problems publishing to my hosted server
using FP 2003 through my cable (Comcast) internet
connection. Usually after the system attempts to upload
the first file I get the error box "The Server
Unexpectedly Closed Connection". I have found a solution
in using FTP through Internet Explorer on a dial up
account. No problems with errors but extremely slow
upload. Any suggestions on getting my highspeed internet
(cable) upload to work? I did find something that said to
uncheck the "Automatically detect settings" check box in
LAN Settings but I'm at work and haven't had a chance to
try this. One more thing, I did a number of trace routes
from my computer to the web location and there is a time
out on the first hop but the rest of the hops seem ok.
Thanks for any help.
