If you are working in FP w/ a 56K dialup connection (especially from AOL) you will continue to have connection time outs
- time to upgrade to broadband

I live in Central TX out in the country. No cable, no DSL just the old phone
line.
The errror message is from FP not AOL. AOL has not gone of line when this
problem happens?? Do you think FP times out because the transfer K's goes
perhaps to zero? Per FP the transfer K's show a high of 11K and I have seen
as low as 3K's when trying to upload. If the phone line is the problem there
may not be a any fix for this problem!!!!!!

Some users have had success (even w/ FP) using Satellite broadband (inspite of the latent delays)

I thought that might be the case. Can you do something for me? The next time
you get the message, wait a minute or two before clicking the OK button -
I'd like to know if you get a pop-up from Norton that "Norton Internet Worm
Protection detected and blocked an intrusion attempt".

Thanks,

Turn off Norton's Internet Worm Protection and see if that helps:
