You have got off to a bad start though with this ??


England were absolutely pants,garbage,rubbish,etc

with 2 of there main player outside and with 10 men.And still Protugal were not close to there goal post.
In 120 min. Protugal enter England D only Twice.
If thats rubbish then I dont have more to say to u.

I agree with Bharatrana on this Rush - England were nowhere near as bad as you say.

Apart from our shocking ability to take penalties, I thought overall most of the players did us and themselves proud in this game.

No humble pie required Rush - I just think sometimes in our frustration and disappointment, we sometimes get carried away with how good/bad we are

I have to say, i think england were terrible for all 5 matches. Lets face it they went on about how this was their time etc etc.

They beat PARAGUAY with an own goal.

They Beat Trinidad and Tobago with 5 mins left.

They drew with a very poor Sweden.

I didn't see the game with Ecuador but by all accounts they were terrible and won with a Beckham free kick.

The game with Portugal was one of the most uninspiring games ive seen at this world cup. Neither team threatened.

Players who did themselves proud: Carrick, Hargreaves, Joe Cole, Lennon

Players who were a big let down: Gerrard, Lampard, Terry, Beckham, Rooney, Owen

Players who were solid as usual: Ferdinand, Neville

Players no where near good enough for an England world cup squad: Crouch

Just my opinion, but England were a shambles.
