"The network request is not supported" Error when logging in

Guest

I have a Windows 2000 Advanced Server witch out of random when i log in it
gives me this error (it usually happens when i install software or update
software)

"The system cannnot log you on due to the following error

The network request is not supported

Please try again or contact your administrator"

and due to this error i cant login. the only way to login is to reboot the
system(by unplugging the system and pugging it in and turning it on again).
also when this login problem accures most of the time network services are
also down and ASP pages tend to give out a HTTP 500 error message

Hello Michael,

Is it running in a domain environment? How is DNS configured on it? Please
tell a bit more over your network and post an ipconfig /all. Sounds for me
that you have a network problem.

Best regards

It is running in a domain enviroment and DNS is configured for Active Dir and
if its not in the local domain it forwards to my ISP'S DNS. It runs a
Microsoft SQL 2000 Server and Exchange 2003. It also has IIS instaled and it
runs a Certificate Services Server

ipconfig /all results
