Credential Caching

After I've logged onto my laptop while connected to the network, everything
is fine. But when I unplug my laptop from the network and try to login, it
gives me an error, "Unable to login, Doman is not availible". Now I thought
the OS was supposed to cache my login credentials when I'm off the network.

Maybe I missed something or some setting (if there is one) but can you
configure the logon credentials to cache? If so, where would you go to do
that? If not, does anyone know why I can't login to the laptop using cached
credentials and how to fix it?

Are you the administrator of the domain? They may have a GPO set to not
allow cached credentials - and if this is the case you will simply have to
log on locally instead of to the cached credentials.
