the mystery of the disappearing MSAS icon from the taskbar

I tried visiting some dangerous sites and I wasn't sure whether MSAS or my
Antivirus caught some BHOs but after I shut down the browser, the MSAS icon
disappear from the taskbar. The MSAS trying to protect itself by making
itself disappear or invisible?

gcasDtServ and gcasServ still running though in the background

I think this is a bug. There are perhaps half-a-dozen viruses which may
disable Microsoft Antispyware, so it is worth checking carefully--but the
services running are a good sign.

I will try to see whether I can reproduce the bug
