The message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments:

When sending a picture to friends this message :"The message is ready to be
sent with the following file or link attachments:" always appears in the
text of the email. It's an obvious nuisance and I'd like to disable it
instead of having to highlight and delete it.

Is there any way to do this?

I'm using Windows XP Home edition. I'm using Outlook Express.

I don't get a message like yours when I sent a test email using my Outlook Express. I wonder how large your attachments are?

You should not see that message if you use "I"nsert , then File attachment option from OE's menu.

Yes, you're right. If I attach a file after creating a new email, the
message doesn't appear.
But I usually send pictures from their folder by selecting "Email this file"
from folder tasks.
This seems the easiest way to send the picture and also the resize option
that is automatically
displayed gives me the ability to make any overly large picture smaller when
it is sent.

As I originally said.........deleting the message that is automatically
included in the body of the email isn't a
big problem. But since it seems it is created somewhere in the bowels of
Windows registry, there should
be a way to disable it.
