When you write "Nav Bar" exactly what do you mean?
For example, the Windows Explorer and/or Internet Explorer
Address Bar.
And when you write "i tried clearing from Regeedit", exactly
what entries did you clear?
Some information that may help:
-- If you "Clear the contents of the My Recent Documents Folder"
by click the "Clear List" button this will delete the Most Recently
Used (MRU) list that appear in the Run command for your
%USERPROFILE%\Recent folder.
For example, "Clear List" will clear the MRU history of entries such
as these: file:///A:/MyTextDocument.txt
It will also clear the commands from the RunMRU that you have
typed in and that appear in the Run command. For example:
CMD /K net user guest
These RunMRU are stored in the following registry location.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU
For more information about clearing My Recent Documents
see the following Microsoft Knowledge Base article section

Folder"

Documents" on the Start Menu in Windows XP

-- If you use the "Clear History" button in Internet Options it
removes shortcuts to Web Pages that you viewed during this
and previous browsing sessions that appear in the Run
command and the Windows Explorer and Internet Explorer
Address Bar.
For example "Clear History" will clear the MRU history of
entries such as these:
http://msdn.microsoft.com
For more information about the "Clear History" button search
the Help and Support Center for the phrase "Using Internet
Options"
-- To clear the history of the (maximum of 25) search arguments
that you typed into the Search Assistant you will need to edit
the registry.
The Most Recently Used (MRU) history for the "All or part
of the file name:" box corresponds to this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru\5603
The Most Recently Used (MRU) history for the "A word or
phrase in the file:" box corresponds to this registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Search Assistant\ACMru\5604
To clear the Search Assistant history do the following:
- Close all Windows Explorer and/or Search Assistant windows
- Click Start, click Run, type the following command and click
OK: regedit
- Navigate to the aforementioned keys
- Delete the "REG_SZ" values 000 - 024. The only value that
should remain in the right-side pane is: (Default) REG_SZ (value
not set).

Changing or deleting registry entries can cause you to have to
reinstall the whole operating system. Before you run the Registry
Editor I recommend that you understand how to backup, edit
and restore the registry.
In particular, I suggest that you read the KB Article section
titled "Export Registry Keys" and then, before you edit the
registry, export the keys that you plan to edit. For more
