I think my problem is with “AOL†! It appears that I can open any e-mail with
an attachment as long it “DOES NOT†come from AOL. To open anything that
comes from their server, I have to send it to “Outlook Express†….. open it….
then click on “Forward†then delete or remove all of the other forwards…..
then send it back to “MS Outlookâ€. Then I’m able to open it.

This all started about a month ago. I don’t have a clue what has changed. I
don’t know if AOL has made a change or if something in my “MS Outlook†has
changed.

I have the same exact problem and it just started today. For no reason, I
seem to have lost all my forms and cannot open any attachments. Any way to
fix this?

As I stated before. This problem seems only to apply to AOL attachments.

I even went as far to uninstalll "Office 2003", then re-boot and re-install
the program hoping this would correct the problem...... There was no change.
I'm waiting for someone with some answers just a your are.

Below is an answer that I received for a similar problem. I had to use
"Method 3" to resolve the problem. And it worked!

Clear the forms cache
There are different methods that you can use to clear the Outlook forms
cache. Each method has advantages and disadvantages.
• Method 1
Microsoft recommends that you use the Clear Cache method. To do this, follow
these steps:
1. On the Tools menu, click Options, and then click the Other tab.
2. Click Advanced Options.
3. In the Advanced Options box, click Custom Forms.
4. In the Custom Forms box, click Manage Forms.
5. In the Forms Manager box, click Clear Cache.

• Method 3
You can also rename the Frmcache.dat file. Do not do this as your first
attempt to resolve a problem with the forms cache because the Frmcache.dat
file may contain information about other forms. However, if your other
efforts to clear the forms cache have failed, you can rename the Frmcache.dat
file and then restart Outlook.
