i created a Field in Access, all the availble fileds are related. as soon as
creating a form to enter data, a message appears which is saying "The field
can't be updated". however the data is entered in the table but can't be
viewed or retreaved in the form. would you help me solve the problem?

Could you explain what you mean by "all the available fields are
related"? Not sure what you mean here. How did you "create" the field,
and where?

let explain exactly what i did. i made three tables and two queries. i
defined the relationship type among the table. then i made a form to enter
data.
the problem lies here. when i try to enter data, the message appears that
says "the field can't be updated." then it fades out. i can enter data then.
the entered data is saved in the queries and tables. yet, when i try to view
or retreave data in the form nothing is diplayed. it is as if there's nothing
in the tables or queries. but that is not the case.
that was the whole story. would mind letting me know how i would possibly
solve it?
