I am trying to create a few users for an access 2003 database. This database has 3 forms and 3 tabels. On eatch tabe there is a start time field with a time function witch gets inserted when the user starts entering data into the form, and a stop time field with is also a time function with should be inserted via a click event on the save customer button. In admin mode everything works fine.
I then created a few users using the user level security wizard. The users entered into the "new data users" workgrup only have read and insert data privileges. Here is where the problem occures...if i log in with a user form that workgroup when i click save i get the "can't assign value to this object" mesage and no data is enterd in the table. If i allow the users to make updates on the tables the problem disappears.
Any ideeas on how to fix this problem?
