Hi

Could someone please help me with a problem pop up I am getting this is
since I updated to the latest windows live messenger 8.5.1302.1018.

" The feature you are trying to install is on a cd-rom or other removable
disc that is not available"

This is a windows installer message relating to a document veiwer.

I do not have a disc to put in the pc, I have uninstalled messenger and the
problem goes, and i restored to an earlier time, everytime I try to put the
messenger back on then I get the same problem, I tried installing an earlier
version but for some reason I can not get one to show after downloading, only
the up to date version works now.

any help to get this windows installer message not to come on I would be
very grateful.

This problem occurs when Windows Live Messenger is trying to access the 3rd
Party plugins. In this case the plugins are HP Document Viewer App.
Check in the event viewer(Start->Run->Eventvwr)for any msiinstaller warning.
That would provide much information on the software.

Probably you may have to remove HP Document Viewer if you are not using it
or you may have to reinstall it.
