The device, \Device\Harddisk6\D, has a bad block.

I am getting this message in the Windows System logs:

"The device, \Device\Harddisk6\D, has a bad block."

How can I tell which driver it refers to? Is it D: - or could it be another?

Use DiskMgmt.Msc to determine physical disk numbering. The graphical
segment will show Disk _ and beside it the partitions of the disk/optical.
