Hi ALl
I am creating default user profiles in my network. I am trying to figure out what the differences and functions are between the All users and Default users folders. Does anybody now what the differences are
TIA

\default user is used to create a profile for new users.
\all users is common to all users that logon (desktop, start menu, etc.)

Default Users is just that, when a new user profile is created on the system a copy of Default User is were that profile starts
from.

All Users has two purposes. It is the registry settings from All Users that the system uses while on Winlogon desktops, like
when the Ctl+Alt+Del dialog is up before anyone logs in. It also provides a central location for making certain things
available to anyone that logs into the system, like Start Menu items, Startup group items, Run keys from the registry, etc.

Hope this helps.
