Hello,
A little question. When I have a template with a textbox in the header or
text in the body and I create a document based on that template (by double
clicking the *.dot file) then there's no problem. But when I have an
existing document with that particular template attached then there's no
textbox in the header of the document when I open the document (*.doc). I
think that it's impossible to do it that way is that right?
Thanks

Attaching a template to an existing document provides the templates styles,
macros, AutoText, toolbars, keyboard shortcuts, etc., but not the layout
(margins, page size or orientation, number of columns, header or footer, or
any boilerplate text. If you want to add these elements to a document,
create a new document based on the template and use Insert | File to insert
the existing document.
