textbox scrollbar

Hi,

When i do this:

Simplest way without vba is to insert a text box from the control tool box (not a normal textbox)

Right Click it > Properties

You must change

Enter key behaviour = true
multi line = true
scrollbars = 2fmscrollbarsvertical

You might want to change

font and forecolor
Back color, border color & style

Type in the text in show mode and then save

John Wilson
Microsoft MVP PowerPoint
Amazing Free PowerPoint Tutorials

That's works fine but i can't copy and paste text from a pdf or word document in the textbox?!
How to do this? Ans how to save it?
Thanx in advance.

Max.

I mean this:

I inserted a textbox i the way John Wilson (another MVP) on a
powerpointforum.
I did this because i need a scrollbar because there's a large amount of
text.
His way worked perfect.

But now i want to copy and paste text from a word document into the textbox
i created in powerpoint.
But that seems not possible.

So my queston is, is there a way to copy and paste text in textbox created
at this way:

"Simplest way without vba is to insert a text box from the control tool box

I hope this makes my question more clear.

You can only paste into this type of text box while you're in slide show view,
not in normal view; but if you briefly go to slide show view, paste in the
text, then exit, the text box will still contain the pasted text.
