text size dpi

Is there anyway to increase the text size dpi but still keep the small icons
on the desktop?

The icons on the desktop? Those can be changed on-the-fly by using SHIFT and
the scroll wheel of your mouse....

or is it ctrl and the scroll wheel of the mouse..?

Try those combinations.

I am on XP the superior OS now and I cant try it...
