TEXT SEARCH WITH explorer

I have a lot of downloaded Adobe Acrobat Documents. I
want to do a text search of the PDF files to locate a
certain document. I am unable to do a text search using
Internet Explorer.

Does Internet Exploreer have the capablities to search
for text in a PDF document file?

When you open a pdf document in IE, it will normally use the Adobe Acrobat
program to display the file. In either case, you can use the Edit/Find item
on the toolbar to search for text in the document.
