Text presented in e mails

I use a hotmail account and some of my received e mails have the following
letter in between the text words: Â Can anyone please let me know why i
get these letters in the text of the e mail . Is it anything to do with the
senders settings ? thankyou..

Nige,

Isn't that the setting at OE > Tools > Options > Read > International
Settings? Uncheck 'Use default encoding when sending messages'. Also look in
the 'Fonts' next to 'International Settings' for that Default encoding
language, mine is 'Western European (Windows)'

Sorry, a typo, it should be uncheck 'Use default encoding for all incoming
messages'

Are you aware that Microsoft will be closing down hotmail in
the near future? I believe it's happening early in 07, tho
I'm not certain.

A word to the wise, get a Yahoo account or something else
free in the near future, so you have time to transition.

Horse hockey! MSN/Hotmail will migrate to Live.com in the near future, but
it no one will lose their current (e-mail address removed) or (e-mail address removed) accounts.
