text paste

I'm trying to paste excel charts into power point, and am
having trouble keeping the text color. if i paste as
bitmap, the text keeps its color, but the whole pic is
fuzzy. if i paste as an embedded excel file, the text
keeps its file, but then the ppt file get REALLY big in
size. so my other options are to paste as a picture or
metaphile, but the text turns black. is there a way to
paste the excel chart into power point w/o losing the
text color (except as a bitmap or excel object)?

Hi Steve,

when IN EXCEL, press the Shift key and then click on Edit. The
"Copy"-command will then be "Copy image". IN POWERPOINT choose "Edit | Paste
special" - your Excel table will keep its colors.

Kind regards,
Ute
