text over image

I wish to have text appear over an image when the cursor is placed over it. I
want to be able to choose font type and colour of the text and have the text
disappear when the cursor is moved away (similar to a screen tip which does
not appear to allow for choice).

Any suggestions?

Wazza,

See Superimpose text on multiple predefined areas on a graphic. I believe
this directly addresses your question.

I am new and the commands probably can be smoother. The code does work.
