Text hangs when typing info in fields on forms

When I am typing text into a field on a web page, such as
when filling in name, address, phone number, etc., there
is about a 10 second lag between the start of my typing
the info and when it actually appears in the field. Also,
when click with the mouse to get to the field, there is a
delay before the cursor actually moves into the field.
Any idea why this could be happening?

I too have the problem of a terrible lag when typing into
browser forms. I tried following the instructions in the
support article that Frank recommended, but I ran into a
problem: When I follow this part of the instructions...

Type the following command:
c:\windows\system\pstores.exe -install
This command replaces the correct ProtectedStorage
registry key.

.... I get this message...

'c:\windows\system\pstores.exe' is not recognized as an
internal or external command, operable program or batch
file.

What do I do now?

Check to see if you have a custom style sheet in effect.
