Text box

I have a WORD document with a text box inserted. The box displays in Print
Layout view but not in Normal View. It prints out fine. Can't figure out
why it won't display in both views though. Any solutions?

Graphic objects (including Text Boxes) do not display in Normal View or
Outline View unless In Line with Text is applied rather than any other type
of text wrapping. See Word Help re Normal View for more detail.

Text boxes *never* display in Normal view (which really should have
been named "reduced functionality view"). They're in the drawing layer
along with floating graphics, which also don't appear in Normal view.
See http://www.word.mvps.org/FAQs/DrwGrphcs/DrawLayer.htm.

Something else to be aware of: If you include a heading in a text box,
it won't be included in an automatic Table of Contents, and the cause
is the same.
